Our
Story

Tucked away on Westville Road in the heart of Shepherd's Bush sits Greenside, a stunning Grade II* listed architectural treasure designed in 1952 by legendary modernist Ernő Goldfinger. It features an incredible, top-lit entrance mural by renowned artist Gordon Cullen.

The Heritage Challenge

As a Grade II* landmark, our school sits in the top 5.8% of England's most historic places. The 75-year-old building is showing its age and requires specialised structural repairs that standard school maintenance budgets simply cannot cover.

The Environmental Impact

Restoring existing buildings is also a powerful climate action tool. Retrofitting Goldfinger's masterpiece prevents the massive carbon emissions associated with demolition and rebuilding, ensuring a sustainable future for Shepherd's Bush.

Looking to the Future

We are currently gearing up for a future conservation campaign to repair, insulate, and celebrate this landmark.

While we are in the very early planning stages, we want to hear from the people who care about it. Leave your email here to stay informed. You will be the first to know when our plans develop, and you'll get priority access to future building tours, architectural open days, and history talks.
